Relationship Counselling
On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being ‘terrible’ and 10 being ‘terrific’) where is your relationship?
Is that where you’d like it to be?
Does your relationship need a helping hand to get to a better place?
As human beings, we are relational creatures. Sometimes, our relationships are great. Sometimes, they can be better. I work with couples (couple’s counselling/coaching) or adult family members (family counselling/coaching) or any 2 or more people in any form of relationship whose relationship is in crisis, or has hit a plateau or are wanting to enhance the quality of their relationship.
The work can range from dealing with issues from the past that are impacting the present, discontent in the ‘here and now’ to actively working on specific goals for the future. In this way, there tends to be an overlap of counselling and coaching, depending on where the work is more heavily weighted. (Fortunately, I’m both a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist and coach.)
There are many reasons why relationships might struggle. My role isn’t to mediate, arbitrate, adjudicate, diagnose or prescribe… My role is to facilitate the growth process of your relationship as well as your understanding of your difficulties and thus facilitate your finding your own answers, whatever those may be.
